If you've been keeping an eye on Celebrity Cruises lately, you already know something exciting has been in the works. On March 2, 2026, the newly revitalized Celebrity Solstice set sail from Singapore—and she is not the same ship you may have sailed before. Celebrity Cruises has invested in a bow-to-stern transformation, and the result is eight new experiences that make an already excellent ship genuinely exceptional.
Whether you're already a Celebrity fan or you've been curious about premium cruising but haven't pulled the trigger, here's a closer look at what's waiting for you on board.
🌅 Sunset Park: Your New Favorite Spot on the Ship
The top deck of Celebrity Solstice has been completely reimagined as Sunset Park—an open-air social space designed around the simple joy of being at sea. Think yoga at sunrise, lawn games in the afternoon, and live music as the sun goes down, all with sweeping ocean views stretching in every direction.
New private cabanas with dedicated attendants give you a shaded retreat when you want one. The Sunset Park Café keeps you fueled with casual bistro breakfast and lunch—sandwiches, quiches, fresh salads, wraps, and charcuterie boards—while the expanded Sunset Bar keeps the handcrafted cocktails flowing all afternoon.
🍝 New Dining: Two Restaurants Worth the Reservation
Celebrity Solstice already had a strong dining program. It just got stronger.
Trattoria Rossa is brand new to Celebrity Cruises entirely—an Italian restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine with house-made pastas crafted daily. The tableside Chicken Parmesan and Caesar Salad are the kinds of touches that turn a dinner into a memory.
Fine Cut Steakhouse, a Forbes Travel Guide-rated favorite from Celebrity's Edge Series ships, has finally made its Solstice Series debut. Thirty-day dry-aged steaks—fresh seafood. The kind of personalized service Celebrity is genuinely known for. If you're the type who plans a vacation around a great meal, make this your first reservation.
🎭 New Entertainment: Something for Every Night
Two new venues are transforming how guests spend their evenings. Boulevard Lounge is a 125-seat space with all-day programming—piano bar sing-alongs, karaoke, game shows—with the Boulevard Bar right next door for handcrafted cocktails. It's the kind of place where you pop in for one drink and stay for three.
The Parlor is the ship's new elevated sports and gaming lounge, featuring billiards, darts, throwback board games, and big-screen sports viewing. The food and drinks here are worth mentioning on their own—craft cocktails (try the signature Red Basil Smash), Shrimp Mac N' Cheese, Celebrity's Signature Burger, House-Made Beignets, and milkshakes that are anything but ordinary.
In the main Theatre, two new productions are making their Solstice debut: Smoke and Ivories, a 1950s-inspired blend of piano performance and high-flying acrobatics, and Rockumentary, a live concert experience recreating iconic rock performances across the decades. And if that's not enough, there's also a candlelit concert featuring live string renditions of rock classics. It's unexpectedly beautiful.
🛏️ Refreshed Staterooms—Including New AquaClass Perks
Every existing stateroom on Celebrity Solstice has been fully updated, and 54 new cabins have been added—bringing the ship to 1,479 total. Four new stateroom categories are available, including the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.
AquaClass guests—Celebrity's wellness-focused accommodation tier—will find their rooms refreshed with spa-inspired amenities: massaging showerheads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, premium robes and slippers, and a pillow menu. AquaClass also includes complimentary access to Blu restaurant and The Spa's Persian Garden.
It's worth noting that this wellness program earned Celebrity Cruises the #1 ranking for Best Cruise Lines for Wellness from U.S. News & World Report. If rest and restoration are part of your travel goals, AquaClass delivers.
🗺️ Where Is She Sailing? Here's the Big Picture
Celebrity Solstice is currently sailing in Asia and Australia before heading to Alaska for Summer 2026—an incredible destination for this ship: glaciers, wildlife, dramatic coastlines, and some of the most awe-inspiring scenery on Earth.
And then there's The Grand Voyage.
Beginning September 13, 2026, Celebrity Solstice embarks on a 110-night sailing across more than 55 unrepeated ports, spanning Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia—concluding with a New Year's Eve arrival in Hong Kong. This is the kind of voyage that belongs on a bucket list.
✉️ Ready to Sail the New Solstice?
Celebrity Cruises occupies a sweet spot in the cruise world—genuinely premium without the ultra-luxury price tag. The revitalized Solstice takes that value proposition to another level, and the 2026 itineraries give you a lot of compelling options to consider.
I'd love to help you find the right sailing—whether it's a shorter Alaska season cruise or a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Voyage. My job is to do the legwork so your experience is exactly what you're hoping for.
